i still think it's not very me, the simpsons version of me, but if your results are even farther departures in your opinion... hrmm...
the best source seems to be a straight-ahead portrait photo. did you try snapping one specifically for use in the -izer?
maybe you can exagerrate the smile or whatever expression, or go expressionless and choose from what's available in their customize menus.
glasses-wise, i had to choose those. they were the closest match, but didn't come up in the raw simpsonized image.
