six word sci-fi

Some XXS literary fun from WIRED. Here's their set-up...

We'll be brief: Hemingway once wrote a story in just six words ("For sale: baby shoes, never worn.") and is said to have called it his best work. So we asked sci-fi, fantasy, and horror writers from the realms of books, TV, movies, and games to take a shot themselves.

Ah, Joss...

Gown removed carelessly. Head, less so.
- Joss Whedon

Heh, Moore...

Machine. Unexpectedly, I’d invented a time
- Alan Moore

Good crack. Check out the entire collection (including many entries that weren't published in WIRED print) for some very fun turns of phrase. =)

Keep on keepin on~

Yeah... needs some work. Well, with the kibosh on the horror'thon tonight (foo), maybe I'll give it some more thought. =)
