I've got most of the episodes of the three ROBOTECH television series that were repackaged for the states archived on betamax cassettes at home. Taped in the early ams whenever the janitor or whoever it was at WPIX—or was it WWOR?—decided to put it on. An epic tale of interstellar civil war told from the point of view of a young pilot in the right places at the right times, the multiple series are populated by a cheezy and beloved cast of characters and chock full of the ultimate forms of what I absorbed as anime archetypes and themes. I haven't kept up with a lot of post-NEW GENERATION Harmony Gold developments in the universe of Robotech, but I'm damn well gonna catch this one! =)U.N. Spacy wants YOU!
