A 2-hour season (perhaps series - I haven't seen anything I could call definite or official on that) finale airs on Fox this Friday night... Sadness at the ending, but then again, some gladness at a written, planned finish, as well as the first (and last? *sigh*) new ARRESTED in a month...

I knew Fox was planning on dumping these all at once, but I didn't know it would be this Friday... Grrrrr... I hope they cancel it soon, so perhaps Showtime or ABC can pick it up...
The Fox site still has "All-new Episodes Coming Soon!" all over it. Which isn't exactly untrue until after Friday...
LOVE how the show got all tongue-in-cheek self referential a couple eps back when putting together the "Save our Bluths" fundraiser (even the name of the event was a nod to a real fan website). There's an exchange between Michael and his father about the whether the Home Builders' Organization would lend their support, and Michael sizes it up with something like, "No, unfortunately, I don't think we can expect any help from HBO..."
Then George jumps in with, "You know what that means... SHOWTIME! We're gonna hafta wow them with some stars!" And talks about getting high-powered guests and performers for the event.
Damn, that's good sad clown comedy.
Only, y'know, not creepy.
I thought the final eps were great! Good wrap up of old stories, and plenty to go on for the future should it continue...
